When do I need to place my order?

You can place your order No Later Than 6pm EST on Thursday for Saturday delivery. We will aim to make deliveries between 4 – 6pm EST. If you require a later delivery time, please state this when you place your order. Please note that our last special delivery will be made No Later Than 7:30pm EST.

What are the portion sizes?

We offer meals in single (one serving), double (two servings), and family (4 – 6) serving sizes. Upon request, we can prepare larger sized portions for family gatherings. Please contact us directly for more information.

What are your delivery areas?

We deliver within a 20-mile radius of the Metropolitan, Washington, D.C. area.

How are my meals packaged and transported?

We package your meal(s) in the appropriately sized containers, seal them with tamper proof tape, and package them in insulated delivery bags, surrounded with cold packs to meet FDA food safety requirements and guidelines. NOTE: Your meals are stored in a professional, temperature refrigerator after they are prepared until they are packaged for delivery to you.

What steps do I take to reheat my meals, or store them?

We provide heating directions for each meal, as well as storage, and use by/freeze by date. We recommend that you use or freeze your meals within one (1) week of delivery. Please note that not all meals will hold up to freezing, and in those cases, we will note that on the container.

What if I have a problem with my order?

If you have any problems with you order, we ask that you contact us immediately about the problem. We will do our best to rectify the problem and/or resolve the issue as soon as possible.

What is your return policy?

Food cannot be returned once delivered and accepted. If there is an error and/or you receive the incorrect order, we will take corrective action and deliver the correct order to you or offer you a credit towards your next order (per your direction). Again, please contact us as soon as you are aware that there is a problem with your order. We request notification within 24 hours.

What if I need to cancel or modify my order?

If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please contact us with 36 hours ahead of your delivery date. Once you contact us, we will promptly cancel your order and issue a full refund. In the case of a modification, we will promptly make the necessary changes to your order, update the order sheet and email you a copy of the updated order confirmation. NOTE: We cannot accept modifications/cancellations made after the 36 hour window.

What are your terms and conditions?

Delectable Dining has a limited liability policy. We will assume liability for the cost of the items purchased by the customer. We shall not be liable for any special, incidental/indirect/consequential damages for personal injury, loss of wages, loss of privacy, etc. from using our online ordering system. NOTE: In some states, limitations and terms (as stated) may not apply. Delectable Dining will take the utmost care to prepare and delivery our products to the best of our ability.
